About Us
EICT Academy, IIT Kanpur is a joint initiative of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and IIT Kanour. Electronics & ICT Academies were set up at 7 IITs, NITs and IIITs by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) under a sponsored scheme entitled “Scheme of Financial Assistance for setting up of Electronics and ICT Academies”. EICT Academy, IIT Kanpur aims to provide specialised training to the faculty members of Engineering, Arts, Commerce, Science and Polytechnic Colleges etc. EICT Academy has planned short time training programs in emerging technologies including in advanced topics of IT, Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Electronics and Communication, Product Design, Manufacturing, Sustainability among others, by providing state of art Online training facilities.
Job description
- Develop and implement high-quality, responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
- Collaborate with designers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of their creative concepts
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend interfaces with server-side functionality Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in frontend development Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and standards Troubleshoot and resolve frontend-related issues and bugs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, ExpressJS, NextJS
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of responsive design principles
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
