The refund is based on either of the tables. Ie. Table 1 and Table 2 for Online Live Courses and Table 3 and Table 4 for Self-Paced/Hybrid Courses, whichever is lower.
A few use-cases as examples for principle of refund:
- A student who has joined an Online Live class for which there are 40 sessions planned. If the student wants to withdraw from the course in the first week of starting of the course, then if the number of sessions completed are 2 or less (5%) , he/she is entitled for a 50% refund on amount paid.
- However, if the student has attended 2 classes but the time elapsed is more than 1 week, then he/she is eligible for only 20% of the amount paid by the student.
- And, if the time elapsed is more than 2 weeks, even though there may have been ONLY 2 classes conducted in that period, the student is Not eligible for refund.
- A student who has joined a Self-Paced course and has not accessed the course but 3 days have elapsed, then the student is eligible for only 10% of the amount paid as refund.
- A student who may have accessed more than 10% of the course will not be eligible for refund even if number of days after purchasing the course is less than 3 days.
