Summer Training Program Terms & Conditions

On behalf of EICT Academy – IIT Kanpur, we welcome you for the Summer Training Program 2024. It is our pleasure to have you with us, we will do our very best to help you reach your learning objective and pave the way for a bright career and future. The code of conduct outlines all the details and information to be followed for a great learning experience. With your cooperation, together we will make your experience a wholesome and complete one.

Course Delivery

The course will be delivered as per schedule. Each course contains its contents, a schedule, and a total duration. In case of any doubt please contact us @ 7992088885

(A) The course contains conceptual as well as practical sessions. The duration of the course cannot be altered /changed. A change like this will only be incorporated in certain circumstances. The schedule of all the batches will be announced one week before the training begins.

(B) The student must thoroughly understand the prerequisites of the course he or she has chosen.

(C) Notice for any batch / course closure will be announced 15 days in advance. In such cases, students who have paid their fees (and their batch has not taken place for whatever reason) can either request a refund or can transfer to another course if the seats are available.

  1. Students will have to bring their laptop for the trainings.
  2. If there is a delay in the course for any unforeseen reason, the same shall be completed by conducting extra sessions.
  3. In case of Covid like situation where Government restrictions do not permit physical classroom sessions the students will be given an option to convert their classroom course to ONLINE LIVE course with ONLINE LIVE fee structure. Balance fees shall be refunded.
  4. Complete fees have to be paid before the start of the batch and is non transferable.
  5. The student attendance has to be more than 80% failing which the student will not be eligible for any certificate.
  6. For ONLINE LIVE courses the delivery shall happen at a stipulated time slot . Students are required to be present in the session. Students will be required to install the required software to enable the learning.
  7. The student has to appear in all assignments and tests failing which the student is not eligible for certificates.
  8. The student who absents himself/ herself during the examination day or fails in the exam shall not be allowed for re- examination under any circumstances. Student who will be absent during assessment will be provided course attended certificate provided his/her attendance is 80%.
  9. There is no provision of Re-exam for grade improvement.
  10. The certificate will be provided to you in the form of a soft copy. Project letters will be provided only to the students who will develop a project and present it.
  11. Student dropping out of the course midway due to any reason are not eligible for refunds or certificate.
  12. If you join the course midway or miss class, you are expected to cover the course with the help of your friends. However, do not expect the trainer to teach you the entire course you missed.
  13. Proper discipline has to be maintained. The student who misbehaves with the trainer or disrupts the class will be suspended from further courses and requests for a refund or certificate will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  14. NO Placement assistance or assurance in any form. EICT – IIT, K does not promise / assure you of any placements / assistance for placement in any form or by its parties.
  15. Student has to follow the decorum and maintain the dignity of the institution where the trainings are organized. In the event of any student flouting rules or regulations or engaging in an activity that is not acceptable to the institute, EICT-IIT will have the right to terminate / suspend the candidate from the training immediately, and no refunds will be entertained.
  16. The EICT-IITK reserves the right to alter/modify/delete /adds any of the above rules as deemed fit. The said decision shall be final and binding on the students.

(B) The student must thoroughly understand the prerequisites of the course he or she has chosen.

(C) Notice for any batch / course closure will be announced 30 days in advance. In such cases, students who have paid their fees (and their batch has not taken place for whatever reason) can either request a refund or can transfer to another location where this course is being taught provided we have enough seats available.

3. Students will have to bring their laptop for the trainings.

5. Registration fees is non refundable .

6. In case of Covid like situation where Government restrictions do not permit physical classroom sessions the students will be given an option to convert their classroom course to ONLINE LIVE course with ONLINE LIVE fee structure . Balance fees shall be refunded .

7. After paying the registration fees, students must pay their balance fees before 30 April 2023; otherwise, fees will be charged as per the current fee structure on the date of payment of balance fees.

9. Hostel and mess charges are extra and are not included in the course fees .

10. For class room sessions at any location , students will have to carry their college I card and other identity proof with them all the time. The student also has to carry the hall card provided to them throughout the training.

Students opting for hostel facility ( if available ) at any location other than IIT,K campus will have sign code of conduct of the particular institution where such facility will be provided .

24. The EICT-IITK reserves the right to alter/modify/delete /adds any of the above rules as deemed fit. The said decision shall be final and binding on the students.

26. All matter pertaining to above or any matter not covered above of any nature shall solely be at the discretion of EICT-IITK and are binding to all students. I have read. I have fully understood the Code of Conduct. I was also explained the rules/policies. I agree to abide by them in letter and spirit.
